"Truth Over Opinion: Reforming Preconceptions and the Driving of the Soul"
This essay, written in Rhetorical Theory with Dr. Kenneth Chase, researches the nature of soul-persuasion and how it connects to communication as a whole. Communication as a whole, especially in ministry, heavily relies on soul-persuasion. Which is to say that it is emotional, deep, relatable, and altogether convincing of why one ought to alter the way they think. In Christian communication, we revisit many common understandings of the Bible, but it is more effective at the point that this intersects with the individual. Soul-persuasion is essential to Christian communication as it can breakdown strongholds and open doors that were not believed to be openable.
